Regional Center, Singapore |
Emerson
Process Management Power & Water Solutions established
its Asia Regional Center in Singapore in 1991 to address
the growing demand for process control and information
systems in the Asia-Pacific region. With a staff of experienced
engineers with a wealth of process control expertise,
our Asia Regional Center provides engineering and systems
integration work throughout the entire Asia-Pacific region.
Asia Regional Offices
Our Asia Regional Center maintains a network of regional
offices and partners strategically located throughout the
region. From these regional offices, we provide comprehensive
support services including project scope definition, proposal
development, application engineering, installation service
and commissioning of Ovation® distributed control and
process management systems.
Organization Structure
Our Asia-Pacific organization is structured to promote maximum
customer satisfaction. All engineering and systems integration
work is performed under the supervision of the Asia Projects
and Services Director. Each project is assigned a dedicated
Project Manager to serve as the single point of contact and
ensure that technical and commercial terms are executed to
meet the customer requirements, on time and on budget. The
engineering staff is a composite group of engineers from around
the world having extensive experience in project management,
installation, and commissioning of distributed control systems.
Training Facilities
Shanghai Office |
The Asia-Pacific Training Center is located at our Regional
Center in Singapore. Our training center consists of a fully-equipped
classroom and computer lab. To better serve our customers,
we also offer training in our China centers.
The Singapore training facility is centrally located within
minutes of Changi International Airport.
China Users Group
The China Users Group, completely independent
from Emerson Process Management Power & Water Solutions,
began in 1990 with the support of Chongqing Iron & Steel
Design Institute. Since then, the group has grown significantly.
This active group submits development requests to us, provides
direct input into the design process, shares technical and
unique application information, and provides a forum for informal
discussions. In turn, we support the group with technology
updates and applied technical expertise, and provide insight
into future releases, updates and enhancements.
