Using a neural-network-based tool, SmartProcess® dynamically optimizes the combustion process to produce heat rate improvements.

Dynamic optimization allows a plant to continuously move through variable load ranges without interruption, while maintaining optimum heat transfer characteristics.

	Heat Rate Improvements The SmartProcess Combustion Optimization enhances boiler operations for heat rate improvements of up to 0.5% to 1.5%.
	NOx Control The Combustion Optimization improves NOx control levels, with or without low NOx burners, reducing them by up to 35% while maintaining or improving boiler efficiency.
	Regulatory Compliance By managing the trade-off between NOx, O2 and CO levels, the Combustion Optimization yields optimal plant performance while maintaining regulatory compliance.
	Closed-Loop Integration The SmartProcess Combustion Optimization directly integrates optimal control setpoints and biases into the existing DCS for seamless closed-loop integration.
