Prerequisites
Prior completion of the WSU-8.6 (WEStation
Software User) or WSM-8.6 (WEStation Software
Maintenance) course is required.
Description
This course is intended for the engineer who requires advanced graphic design
and generation techniques. This course describes graphic commands used to
build diagrams that provide online interface to other drops on the WDPF® Data
Highway. Key topics include advanced graphic commands including pointers,
memory segments, application programs, Open Look commands and conditional
display items. These commands are used in conjunction with basic graphic
commands that were introduced in the WSU-8.6 and WSM-8.6 courses..
Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Use advanced graphics commands to build graphics to interface
with other drops
- Use General Message Formats to communicate with other
drops
