Prerequisites
Prior completion of WSU-8.7 (WEStation Software User) or WSM-8.7 (WEStation Software Maintenance) is required . Knowledge of Applix, UNIX, and Open Windows is strongly recommended.

Description
This course is for students who will set up and maintain the WEStation Historian and Log Server drops.

Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. Create and customize historical trends
  2. Define and configure historical subsystems
  3. Build and modify the Historian database
  4. Define and configure secondary and tertiary storage devices
  5. Utilize Applix to build custom reports
  6. Configure single and batch reports
  7. Configure the Log Server
  8. Configure the Base Alarm system
